Refund Policy

Learn Native English offers monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions, plus an optional $1 three-day trial. This Refund Policy explains exactly what does and doesn't qualify for a refund. You can cancel any subscription at any time from your account settings — cancellation stops future charges, and the rules below govern past charges.

Monthly Pro subscriptions

Monthly Pro charges are non-refundable, except where required by law. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and your account reverts to free after that. We do not refund partial billing periods or unused time within a paid month.

Yearly Pro subscriptions

Yearly Pro purchases are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase. To request a refund within this window, email contact@learnativenglish.com from the email address on your account. After 14 days, yearly purchases are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to stop the next renewal — but the current paid year will not be refunded after day 14.

$1 trial converting to monthly Pro

The $1 trial gives you three days of full Pro access. Twenty-four hours before the trial ends, we email you a reminder so you have time to decide. If you do nothing, your account automatically converts to a monthly Pro subscription and your card is charged $30. Once that charge has been made, it follows the monthly policy above and is non-refundable. To avoid the charge, cancel before the trial ends — Settings → Billing, or directly through the Stripe customer portal link in your trial reminder email.

How to request a refund

For yearly refund requests within the 14-day window, email contact@learnativenglish.com with your account email and your Stripe receipt or order ID. We respond within two business days. We will not process refunds requested through any other channel. Please don't open chargebacks or disputes before contacting us — see the section below.

Processing time

Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method. The reversal typically appears in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We have no control over how quickly your bank credits the refund.

What happens to your account on refund

When a refund is processed, your account is automatically downgraded to the free tier. Your learning progress, saved vocabulary, and account data are preserved — only Pro-only features become unavailable. You can subscribe again at any time.

Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please email us first. Filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card network without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended or terminated, and can prevent us from offering refunds in the future. We're happy to resolve legitimate issues directly — chargebacks should be a last resort.

European Union and United Kingdom — statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-services contract within 14 days of purchase. This right applies in addition to (and prevails over) the policies above. Where you have begun using the digital service during this 14-day window with your express consent, this right may be limited or waived in accordance with applicable consumer law. To exercise this right, email contact@learnativenglish.com within 14 days of your purchase. We will refund any payments received from you, using the same means of payment, within the time required by law.
